CVAC is exited to host the 2023 youth Congressional Art Competition for the 25th district! As you can see the gallery is being prepped and judges are scoring to see which work from our 25th district will be chosen to be hung at the capital for a year. The Congressional Art Competition has been held annually since 1982 as an opportunity to recognize and encourage the artistic talent among the youth of our nation. High school students in grades 9-12 have submitted artwork for consideration and we are looking forward to recognizing and showcasing their talent. The work will be on display May 4th until May 25th daily 8am-12:30pm, closed Sundays.

Thirty six students and their families gathered to view their work in the gallery and share their inspiration. Congressman Raul Ruiz awarded seven students for their exceptional works:
